Kawaguchi
Kawaguchi (in Japanese : 河口湖 , in English Hepburn romanization Kawaguchi-ko ) is a lake near Mountain Fuji , Japan . It located in the prefecture of Yamanashi and is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes . The lake is part of the National Park Fuji-Hakone-Izu . Located at an altitude of 800 m, where summers are cooler and winters are frigid. In recent years Kawaguchi shifted nearby Lake Yamanaka as the most popular in the region.
